• Watered: 200ml distilled poured over, left to sit 10 min then drain.
• Fertilized: 100ml Agro succulent fertilizer solution, diluted at the standard 15ml per 3L ratio.

Bone dry throughout, been that way for a couple of weeks before this watering. Bottom-watered with distilled water.

Rosette has opened out and splayed, mostly on one side. Consistent with the etiolation he arrived with – those stretched leaves are too long to hold their own weight, so gravity pulls them down. The one-sided pattern matches the direction he was leaning toward light.

No rot, no discoloration, center growth still tight. Watch next: whether new growth from the center comes in shorter and firmer now that he has been at the south-facing window for a month. The splayed outer leaves will not re-tighten.

Bottom soaked in distilled water, left to drip off fully before going back on the tray. First watering since the repot 13 days earlier.

Repotted one week after arrival into 7cm terracotta, cactus mix, out of the 5cm plastic nursery pot he came in. Same day Greg was acquired and repotted. Roots looked healthy during repot.

Bottom leaves not fully filled out but top growth looks healthy – likely cosmetic, not a sign of stress.

Acquired at DMP in Karlín alongside a second identical specimen (given to a friend the same day). He was kept in a dark corner of the store and arrived already etiolated from those conditions. Placed at the south-facing window immediately on arrival. Bottom watered the same day.

Note: the friend's plant collapsed within days from advanced root and crown rot – it was already compromised at the store. Eugene showed no such signs.

Arrived in a 5cm plastic nursery pot. Roots checked on arrival – looked healthy.
