Roots progressing; catching up to the pothos

Rooting from the submerged node, roots shorter and finer than the pothos but clearly extending. Stem firm, no soft spots at the cut end. Still behind the pothos in root mass but on track.

Roots emerging

Thin, white roots visibly popping out. Good sign โ€“ progressing well. Sharing propagation jar with golden pothos.

Water changed every 5 days with willow water added. Move to soil once roots are more developed.

Water changed, willow water added

Water changed in the propagation jar (shared with the golden pothos). Added willow water as a rooting supplement to help strengthen root growth.

Acquired as stem cutting, water propagation started

Stem cutting acquired same day as original Diego (Mammillaria). Placed in water to propagate.
